One person has reportedly sustained injuries after Nigerian hip-hop star, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido and his men allegedly got into a fight with some people in a club in Dubai, UAE. According to reports, David's crew, known as the '30 billion gang' reportedly got into a fight at a club in Dubai, UAE over the weekend. From videos that have now gone viral, some men said to be Davido team members engaged in a brawl, breaking bottles at the club after the artiste 'felt oppressed'. Eyewitnesses claimed the 'Dubai guys' got to the club and ordered a lot of expensive drinks after which Davido got in and ordered just one Azul and Don Julio. An eyewitness said patrons bought more drinks and brought out their phones to record the musician but the club’s bouncer approached them and asked them to stop recording, saying Davido didn’t like it. “Davido only ordered one Azul and Don Julio whereas the people I went with already ordered Moet, Azul and others, that was where the problem started. Bouncers came to meet us and asked us to stop making videos. Is Davido the owner of the club? Is his father the owner of the club?" one of the members of the other camp asked. An argument ensued and a fight broke out between Davido’s crew and the patrons. One of the patrons allegedly collapsed after a bottle was smashed on his head. The police intervened but some of the ladies thereafter created a scene outside the club as they claimed Davido’s men seized their phones for recording the fight. A lady said, “You know Dubai boys love buying drinks so Davido felt oppressed. There was a guy that was making a video of Davido and Davido asked the bouncer to collect the phone from the guy. The young man said he had done nothing wrong that why will Davido ask for his phone to be seized, that was how he got angry and started throwing bottles, his boys started throwing glass cups, it was not a small issue. A young man even fainted there." One of the ladies identified as Bianca was heard hurling insults at the musician saying she was not going to go until she retrieved her phone. Others accused Davido of being arrogant and capitalising on the fact that he was a celebrity. Over the weekend, Davido donated the sum of N250 million to orphanages across Nigeria. The music artiste, who asked his friends to send him money for his birthday, thereafter received about N200 million from Nigerians, including billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola. He announced on Friday that he was donating the N250 million to orphanages to help give children in those places a good life. According to Davido, who made a personal donation of N50 million to the cause, giving and helping people around him was one of his biggest joys in life. Nigerian music star, Tiwa Savage, has disclosed that she is being blackmailed over a sex video featuring her and her partner. She, however, did not disclose the identity of her partner. The singer revealed during an interview with American radio host, Angie Martinez that the video features her and her current partner. She said, “Yesterday, I was leaving a radio station and I was in my car when my road manager sent me a message. “She said I should check my phone. I checked it and there was a video, and I was just like, ‘Wow!’ “I asked him where he got it from and he said he received it about 20 minutes earlier. “The video was sent to him and it is a tape of me and the person I am dating right now. "The first thing I did after I got off the phone was that I sent it to my manager and asked what we should do. “The person is asking for money now. The person I am dating is going crazy too. “My manager asked how much the person is asking for. “ But the singer said she had decided not to pay the blackmailer because blackmailers usually come for more. "I decided I was not going to pay the person because if I do, two months from now, three months down the line, or even two years later, you are going to come back again. “Who knows, if I send the money, the person will probably release it. I am not going to let anyone blackmail me for doing something natural,” she said. The Adjabeng Circuit Court sitting in Accra, Ghana, has ordered the deportation of Nigerian singer, Bella Shmurda, from Ghana after he was found guilty of attacking a doctor with a fork while in quarantine at the MPlaza Hotel in Accra. The “Cash App” hit maker was deported alongside two others namely Ramsey Omeofe and Jubreel Abimbola while they were also fined GH¢2,000 each. The court also banned the singer, whose real name is Akinbiyi Abiola Ahmed, and his colleagues from travelling to Ghana for a period of three months. Bella Shmurda and the two others were said to have become agitated and attacked the doctor after being put into quarantine for testing positive for COVID-19. It is understood that the trio were quarantined upon arrival in Ghana as mandated during the pandemic and underwent COVID tests. They were quarantined at the MPlaza hotel in Accra and had their swabs taken and reportedly tested positive for the virus which meant they had to remain in quarantine. Apparently rankled and agitated that the development would disrupt their visit to Ghana, they reportedly attacked the doctor who delivered the news to them with a fork. The attack, it was gathered, was part of an alleged plot by the trio to escape from quarantine.
