The General Overseer of the Omega Fire Ministries International, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has said he and his family will not take a jab of the COVID-19 vaccine. The clergyman, as seen in a viral video, said his decision is based on something he saw medically about the vaccine. Lamenting the reported restrictions placed on those who are yet to be vaccinated, Apostle Suleman said he’s ready to stand his ground if the vaccine is made mandatory. He said, “There is a vaccine that’s going on that people are taking now. After you take the vaccine, you are still to wear your face mask, you are still to do social distancing, you are still not to shake hands with people, you are still to do every protocol. “Some people have come up with all kind of theories, I don’t know what they call conspiracy but I could know that it’s theories and some say it’s the mark of the beast. “Some say it’s the Antichrist but I’ve said to you before that, when the Antichrist will come, we will not be here. We would have been gone. I don’t say it is spiritual but I see something medical, that thing is not good and I’m hearing in some places now, they are making it compulsory. “See people are watching online, they will misunderstand me. If you want to take it, take it but I’ll advise anybody who has consciousness not to take it, it’s not healthy. “What I saw in it, I’ll not take it. Forget all those ones they are showing you one governor taking it. Oh, you think that thing they are putting in him, you think that’s what they are coming to put in you? “Nobody should force it on anybody, it should be optional. If you want to take it, take it. If you don’t want to take it, don’t take it. Nobody should force the vaccine on anybody. “Now I’m hearing that they said if you don’t have it you can’t travel, that’s nonsense. Whoever doesn’t want to take it, should not take it. “Maintain all the protocols you can maintain. If you want to take it, take it. I’m not telling everybody not to but I’m telling every Omega child. Forget it I know they are going to come up with laws that you must take it. “There are some jobs now, especially in the medical line, they said everybody must take it, some hospitals and some nurses but don’t take it. “Me, I won’t take it, my wife won’t take it, my children will not take it. If they say my child must take it before he goes to school, I’ll withdraw the child from going to school. “I’ll not advise you take it but if you want to, go ahead but if you want my advice which I’m entitled to as your Pastor, I’ll say don’t take it. “Listen to me, whatever I tell you take it to the bank, you will soon know. That’s how I gave prophecy here about Donald Trump not winning and people think I’m anti-Trump. I’m talking about something spiritual and they were being emotional. “America, the kind of suffering they will suffer after one or two years, you will see it and it’s not the man, it’s the woman, that’s the president. “The woman is the president, not the man, you will soon understand. He only came to prepare a way for her, when it happens you will know.” By Segun Adewale Source:https://punchng.com/covid-vaccine-my-family-will-not-take-it-says-apostle-suleman/
Former Central Bank Governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo, has narrated how he narrowly escaped death when gunmen unleashed terror on him and his security aides on Wednesday evening. Soludo also described the killing of three of his police orderlies as senseless while praying for the repose of their souls. The PUNCH had reported that the ex-CBN governor was attacked in his hometown in Isuofia in the Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State. Soludo, of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, is a frontline aspirant in the November 6 governorship poll in the state. He narrated his ordeal on Thursday night while featuring on Channels Television’s ‘Politics Today’ programme monitored by The PUNCH. Soludo said, “We were having an interactive session and we finished the mass about 4pm and the scheduled interactive meeting with the Isuofia youths. By the way, Isuofia happened to be my hometown. I’m a village boy and this is where I feel safest anywhere in the world. I walk the street, I jog in my community, I take long walk, I am everywhere as a village boy. “With this interactive session, there were over a thousand youths seated and I was just making preliminary remarks to open up the interactive session with other dignitaries from the communities, commissioners and members of the house of assembly. And just as I was about to wrap up and I said, ‘Finally!’ for them to open up for comments and answers, gunshots! At first, I thought may be the policemen were shooting in the air with the kind of exuberance in the hall until I began to hear people screaming and we all scampered for safety. “It took more than 10, 15 minutes of continuous gun battle. By the time we all came back, we saw three bodies there lying in the pool of their blood – they were the three policemen. May God grant their souls eternal rest. We will continue to pray and support their families.” “I was totally unhurt, not in anyway hurt,” Soludo noted. When asked whether the attack was linked with his ambition to become Anambra governor, the ex-CBN governor said, “I am friend with everybody contesting the office. I don’t think the office is worth the blood of even a chicken let alone a human being. I will be shocked that it was politically motivated and that it was aimed directly at me.” He said investigation by security agencies will unravel the perpetrators of the heinous act while expressing worry over the kidnap of the state Commissioner for Public Utilities, Emeka Ezenwanne, during the attack on Wednesday. Soludo appealed to the kidnappers to release Ezenwanne in the spirit of Easter celebrations. By Kayode Oyero Source:https://punchng.com/how-gunmen-attacked-me-killed-three-police-orderlies-soludo/
